Q: I’ve heard that Curtis is a “professional magician” what does that mean?

A: Curtis has been working as a magician for over ten years, and has done hundreds of shows. He works as a magician full time, and is not a hobbyist but true, working professional. This is a bit of a rarity. Most guys you look at in the phone book will have less experience and only work as a magician when shows come around. Q: I have heard that magicians are expensive... is that true?

A: Understand that you are hiring a highly skilled entertainer to travel to your home with specialized equipment and perform a show for you and your guests. If that show were in a theater you would buy tickets for you and your children to see the performance. By hiring a magician to do that act in your house you are essentially volunteering to buy all the tickets for that afternoon’s performance. This is perhaps why many magicians will charge up to 10,000 dollars to perform their act in your home. Fortunately Curtis has fought to keep his prices far below those of his peers while keeping the value of the show above and beyond the adverage magician.

Q: What are the details of the Gaurentee?

A: Each show is guarenteed to throuly entertain the children at the party. If for any reason you feel that this was not accomplished speak with Curtis and your show will be either discounted or free. The guarentee does not cover things like lateness or other metagating factors. Usually things that are oftin out of Curtis' control. For example if one show runs late because the parents of that childs party wrote the wrong time down on the invitations. Such a problem may cause Curtis to be late at other shows. He will do his best to try to make everyone happy. If there are any problems not related to the childrens satisfaction of the show these may be resolved afterward aswell. The maximum discount awarded for such unforseen problems is 25%. You may ofcourse cancel the show at anytime (as long as travel is not an issue or the show has not already begun) and not be responsibe for the cost of that show.

Q: Does he make balloon animals?

A: Curtis makes a balloon hat for the birthday child, but does not usually make animals for the entire party. Especially for the young kids, balloons can be a choking hazard. They also take up a ton of time. Curtis would rather be using that time to entertain and amaze. He is, after all, a magician and not a "balloon guy" or a clown. (back to top)

Q: My house is far away. Can Curtis still do a show there?

A: Yes, Curtis will go to the ends of the earth for your show as long as transportation is provided- as deemed acceptable by him. (i.e. gas money, airline tickets, accommodations etc.) Also, there is an additional fee for travel depending on the circumstances. (back to top)
